Advice for couples who are planning to have a Wedding in Cancun Mexico

Some pointers for your Wedding in Cancun Mexico

Read this if you are interested in planning to have a Wedding in Cancun Mexico. Destination weddings have become more popular over the years. There are different reasons for this starting from the combination of vacation, honeymoon and wedding all in the same trip. The interest of some couple to do something different than their parents did. And save money at the same time. Yes it can be cheaper to have a Wedding in Cancun than a local one. Whether you want a small event with few guests or a large one with as many people as can come I think Cancun is the place to come. But here are some things to keep in mind when making your decision.

Hotels and resorts know the importance of this industry and how profitable it can be so they will try their best to accommodate you. Some offer package deals that can save you some money. The resort wedding coordinators usually behave in a professional way and will manage your event in a competent manner. The only problem sometimes is the photographers that they hire. The thing is that in some hotels photography services are performed through a franchise which is given not to the best possible photographer but to the one which gives the best commission to the hotel. This doesn't mean that the photographer is a bad one. But I advise you to ask beforehand who will be the photographer and be given samples or the address of their website. Another way to go is to hire your own photographer. This is highly recommended. After all you want your Wedding in Cancun to be professionally photographed. Some hotels will charge an outside photographer for the right to photograph in their premises. You should ask beforehand if this is the case and how much they charge. Your photographer might absorb that cost or ask you to pay for this extra charge. Keep this in mind when arranging your wedding through a hotel and when hiring a photographer. The good thing about these packages is that you can show up and everything should be ready and since the hotel wants you to do everything in their premises they might give you some nice savings. Just do your homework and investigate how good a particular resort is with these type of services.

If you are not marrying in a resort or you want more flexibility or customization for your event then the best thing to do is to hire a professional wedding coordinator. He/She will take care of finding you a judge for your ceremony, paperwork such as marriage licenses, and taking care of all the other details such as flowers. Just as I advised you before do your homework with the wedding coordinator. She should have a decent website and should answer any questions you may have satisfactorily before you hire her services. This option might be a bit more expensive but it's the best way to insure that you will have a great Wedding in Cancun Mexico.

I'm also advising you to search for a photographer on your own if you can. Especially if you want the best possible wedding photographs of your event. A good wedding photographer should have a professionally designed website. They should have professional quality photographs of the events they have covered. This way if you are not convinced with the photographer that the wedding coordinator is pushing on you, you can hire another one. Like in every industry there are different price ranges depending on how good the Wedding photographer is. But they are usually cheaper than a photographer in the United States specially since if you hire one you will have to pay for traveling expenses.

Another nice plus of having a wedding in Cancun Mexico is that you can have a nice trip to a beautiful location and you will have the perfect excuse to come back for your fifth, tenth, and 25th anniversary. The weather is great, the location gorgeous, there are tons of activities for you and your guests. I know it sounds like a commercial but I've lived here for a while and I still love the place. I hope my advice helps you to have a wonderful Wedding in Cancun Mexico.

The reason for bolaay cancun wedding tips

Welcome to this blog. The reason why I started this blog was to give people wanting to have a wedding in cancun mexico a behind the scenes look to the wedding industry in this Caribbean destination. I'm hoping that the information you find in this blog will help you avoid the possible problems you may have while you have your Riviera Maya or Cancun wedding. you will have many questions and doubts about the whole process. I've worked for several years in this industry mainly as a wedding photographer. And in those years I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly.  People usually want a Cancun wedding because of the beautiful sandy beaches and the great weather. They want this important event to be as special as possible. For the most part this is possible you just need to avoid some common pitfalls that people sometimes make when arranging their Cancun wedding. After all, most of you are not from Mexico and don't know the destiny and you have to make all the arrangements through the Internet or by phone. And the people you usually go for advice want to sell you something. My main interest with this is to help you avoid the bad elements that exist in every industry. Elements that indirectly damage the reputation of the real professionals who have to compete with them. There are thousands of Cancun weddings every year and you want yours to be a great one. I hope that this blog is of some help to you.
